§ 16. Records.

  • Be it further enacted, that the board of mayor and councilmen shall cause to be kept a full and fair record of all acts, ordinances and proceedings of said board, a docket of all cases tried before the mayor or any councilman acting in his stead, with the judgment rendered therein, a regular and complete account of all receipts and expenditures, and of the condition of the finances of said town, to be posted at the court house door in said town, and every citizen of said town shall at all times have free access to and the right to inspect any and all records of said board.
